Egg
Nog |
Egg
Nog is popular at Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter. Egg
Nog is a great adult holiday treat and children like it too.
Egg Nog can be drunk as it comes from the bottle, a splash
on cereal or ice cream is a treat and Egg Nog seems to mix
with most liquor. A pint, quart, half gallon or gallon makes
a wonderful holiday gift. If you want Egg Nog at other times
of the year, it can be stored in your freezer. Remove a few
ounces to allow for expansion and thaw and consume before
the the next holiday.

Whole,
Skimmed and Low Fat Milk
are sold in glass and plastic bottles. In 1960 when we
began to sell cash and carry at the farm, we bottled all of
our milk in glass. There were big gallons and little half
pints and everything in between. Today the only glass bottle
that we use is the half gallon. Many customers are sure that
the milk tastes best in glass.
A returnable plastic gallon and half
gallon are also offered. Glass and returnable plastic are
preferred by customers who are concerned about the volume
of trash produced by the current standard of living. The returnable
plastic bottles are much lighter than the glass, so carrying
and pouring are easier. This is good for children and older
folks.
